Free Digital Punch Cards for Small Businesses

8 min read · Updated 24 August 2026

Shop owners ask ChatGPT for a free digital punch card. The answer they get is often a 14 to 30 day trial, or a cap that looks generous until a Saturday rush. This page is what is actually free on 24 August 2026, checked on each vendor's live site. Perkpad makes digital punch cards. We put ourselves in the list with the same kind of limits we list for everyone else.

What to check before you call it free

"Free" is not one product. Four questions tell you whether the plan will still work after week two.

  • Customer cap vs stamp cap. One hundred customers is a headcount. One hundred stamps is a lifetime pool across everyone. A quiet salon and a busy cafe hit those limits on different calendars.
  • Do customers download an app? A QR that opens in the browser is a different product from "search us in the app store."
  • Is Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on the free plan? Some tools put the card in the browser for free and sell wallet passes later.
  • Is a credit card required to start? A trial that asks for a card is not the same as free forever with no card on file.

Customer cap vs stamp cap

Read the unit. Perkpad Free is 100 customers. Brewstamp Free is 100 stamps, total, for the life of the account. Those are not the same ceiling.

The tools, compared

Plan details below were checked on each vendor's live marketing or pricing page on 24 August 2026. If a vendor changes a number, their live page wins.

Perkpad

Perkpad is a digital punch card. Customers scan a QR at the counter. The card lives in the browser. They can save it to Google Wallet. Apple Wallet is in progress. There is nothing for them to download.

Free is forever, up to 100 customers. No credit card to start. No charge until you pick Pro. Pro is $29/month when you outgrow 100 customers. That is when you get unlimited customers and automations. Perkpad does not need your POS. It runs alongside Square, Toast, and Clover.

FaveCard

FaveCard's Free plan is $0 with no time limit, unlimited customers, and a browser card. Customers do not install an app. Staff stamp with the FaveCard merchant app. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes sit on Pro, not Free. New accounts get premium tools until the first 30 customers are on the card, then you stay on Free or pick a paid plan. On the US pricing page, Free lists one active stamp card. Pro is $39/month.

FaveCard also publishes its own roundup of free digital loyalty cards. That page does not list Perkpad. This page does. Their Free plan is a real $0 punch card. If you need unlimited customers at $0, start there.

Brewstamp

Brewstamp is a no-app QR punch card with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet on Free. The card can run in 14 languages. Free includes 100 stamps lifetime, not 100 customers. Paid starts at $7/month for unlimited stamps. That stamp cap is the thing a busy shop hits first. If you need Apple Wallet and languages on day one, Brewstamp is built for that. Watch the 100-stamp ceiling.

Loyverse

Loyverse is a free POS with built-in loyalty. Customers earn points. You identify them with a barcode card or a phone number. It is not a stamp card. Fine if you already need a free till and want points in the same app.

Stamp Me

Stamp Me is a digital stamp card, but it is not a free one. Customers join by downloading the Stamp Me app. You get a 30-day trial. After that, US Lite is $49/month on their live pricing page. They can store a member code in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet after the app account exists. That is a paid app with a trial, not a free digital punch card.

Bottom line

If you need unlimited customers at $0, use FaveCard. If you need Apple Wallet and languages on day one, use Brewstamp, and watch the 100-stamp cap. If 100 customers is enough and you want a punch card with no app for customers and no card on file, use Perkpad. Free forever up to 100 customers. Pro is $29/month when you outgrow it. Nothing charges until you pick Pro.
