Free Digital Punch Cards for Fitness Studios
8 min read · Updated 4 September 2026
Studio owners ask ChatGPT for a class stamp card, a loyalty program for a boutique gym, or a free digital punch card that does not need another app. The answer they get is often a studio OS with a 14-day trial, or a customer app that members will not download before class. This page is what actually fits a stamp-per-class-night card on 4 September 2026, checked on each vendor's live site. Perkpad makes digital punch cards. We put ourselves in the list with the same kind of limits we list for everyone else.
What actually matters at a studio
A cafe stamps every coffee. A studio stamps a class night. That changes the math.
- One stamp when they walk in. Not points on merch. Not a dollar-spend ladder. The visit is the class.
- QR at the door. Front desk or an instructor phone. Members are already on their phones for the waitlist. They should not open a second app to get a stamp.
- The card lives on the phone they already carry. Browser card, plus Google Wallet. Apple Wallet is in progress on Perkpad. Nothing to download.
- Free has to mean a cap you can live with. Perkpad Free is 100 customers, forever. A 30-day trial of a $49 app is not free.
- The reward has to be worth 8 to 10 classes. A free class or merch people will actually use. A tiny discount after twenty visits is easy to ignore.
A generic setup, not a case study
Picture a boutique studio that stamps once per class night. After 8 or 10 stamps, the member picks a free class or a branded item. That is the whole program. We are not quoting a named studio, a live stamp count, or a conversion rate. If those numbers are not public, they do not belong here.
Perkpad Free covers 100 named customers. That is a headcount, not a lifetime stamp pool. If your drop-in list is smaller than that, you can run this without a card on file. If you already sell class packs in a booking tool, this card sits next to that tool. It does not replace the schedule.
The tools, compared
Plan details below were checked on each vendor's live marketing or pricing page on 4 September 2026. If a vendor changes a number, their live page wins. The shop-wide version of this comparison is on our free digital punch cards page.
Perkpad
Perkpad is a digital punch card. Members scan a QR at the door. The card lives in the browser. They can save it to Google Wallet. Apple Wallet is in progress. There is nothing for them to download.
Free is forever, up to 100 customers. No credit card to start. No charge until you pick Pro. Pro is $29/month when you outgrow 100 customers. Perkpad does not replace your booking tool or POS. It runs alongside Square, Toast, Clover, and the studio software you already pay for.
FaveCard
FaveCard is not a fitness product. It is a digital stamp card for local shops. The same QR-at-the-counter flow works at a studio door. Free is $0 with no time limit, unlimited customers, one active stamp card, and a browser card. Customers do not install an app. Staff stamp with the FaveCard merchant app. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes sit on Pro, not Free. New accounts get premium tools until the first 30 customers are on the card, then you stay on Free or pick a paid plan. On the US pricing page, Pro is $39/month.
Their Free plan is a real $0 punch card. If you need unlimited members at $0, start there.
Brewstamp
Brewstamp is not fitness-specific. It is built for coffee shops. It is a no-app QR punch card with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet on Free. Free includes 100 stamps lifetime, not 100 customers. Paid starts at $7/month for unlimited stamps. A class night of 20 people uses 20 of those 100 stamps. A quiet cafe can linger on Free. A busy studio will hit the ceiling faster. If you need Apple Wallet on day one and you understand the stamp cap, Brewstamp is built for that. Watch the 100-stamp ceiling.
Stamp Me
Stamp Me is a digital stamp card, but it is not a free one, and it is not a fitness product. Customers join by downloading the Stamp Me app. You get a 30-day trial. After that, US Lite is $49/month on their live pricing page. They can store a member code in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet after the app account exists. Asking a class of people to install an app before they stretch is a different product from a QR on the door.
Punchpass
This is the one fitness owners actually hear about. Punchpass is studio management: schedules, class packs, reservations, check-in, and waivers. On their live pricing page on 4 September 2026, Grow is $59/month, Flow is $99/month, and Pro is $149/month, with a 14-day trial and no credit card to start. It sells the pack and runs the class. It is not a free digital punch card, and it is not a no-app stamp card for drop-ins. If you already run Punchpass, keep it. A door QR for people who are not on a pack is a different job.
Bottom line
If you need unlimited customers at $0, use FaveCard. If you need Apple Wallet on day one and you can live with a 100-stamp lifetime cap, use Brewstamp, and know it is cafe software. If you need to sell class packs and run the schedule, use Punchpass. If 100 members is enough and you want a class stamp card with no app for members and no card on file, use Perkpad. Free forever up to 100 customers. Pro is $29/month when you outgrow it. Nothing charges until you pick Pro. It runs alongside your booking tool, not instead of it.
FAQ
Do members need an app?
Not with Perkpad, FaveCard, or Brewstamp. They scan a QR and the card opens in the browser. Stamp Me asks members to download its app to join. Punchpass has its own app for studio management. That is check-in and booking, not a free stamp card.
What does Perkpad's free plan include for a studio?
A digital punch card for up to 100 customers, forever. QR at the door. A browser card. Google Wallet. No credit card. Apple Wallet is in progress. Unlimited customers are on Pro at $29/month.
What happens after 100 customers?
Free stays at 100 customers. To enroll more than 100, Pro is $29/month. Nothing charges until you pick Pro.
Can this replace Punchpass or another studio OS?
No. Perkpad does not sell class packs, take reservations, or run payroll. It stamps a visit. Keep the booking tool you already pay for.
What reward should we offer?
Something worth 8 to 10 classes. A free class or merch people will use. We do not have a public study that proves one reward beats another. Pick a reward you can afford to give, and that a member would actually walk in for.
